Do you have CHC Board Members who need training on their specific roles and responsibilities? If so, this online training is for you and your Board Members. Bobbie Maniece- Harrison, a CHC Board Member for more than 25 years, will share Board Member insights, roles and the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) Governance Program Expectations. Ms. Maniece-Harrison will also cover topics such as governing board structure, recruitment and retention of CHC Board Members, a code of ethics for Board Members, and common recurring issues CHC Boards must face. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The California Primary Care Association (CPCA) is pleased to present a series of two web trainings on clinic licensing. This series was developed based on needs identified by CPCA members. Full descriptions of both sessions are below.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;u&gt;SESSION 1&lt;/u&gt;: LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS 101&lt;br /&gt;
When: Tuesday, May 6, 2008 / 11:30am - 1:00pm&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/strong&gt;This session is designed for clinic staff who have limited experience with the licensing and certification process. Starting with an overview of the process, topics covered will include: using the application checklist; where to find application forms; timelines, required documentation; Central Applications Unit vs. District  Office Responsibilities, provider enrollment and other issues.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.cpca.org/programs/events/trainingRegister.cfm?LocationID=700"&gt;REGISTER FOR THE FIRST SESSION HERE&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;u&gt;SESSION 2&lt;/u&gt;: AFFILIATE CLINIC LICENSING, INTERMITTENT (aka SATELLITE) SITES AND RELOCATION OF EXISTING CLINICS&lt;br /&gt;
When: Tuesday, May 20, 2008 / 11:30am - 1:00pm&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/strong&gt;Specific licensing and certification regulations and policy apply to these situations. Clinic staff will learn the difference between affiliate clinics and intermittent sites, understand which billing options apply to which situations, and be introduced to the Relocation Checklist. In addition, presenters will discuss tips for working with your District Office to plan for relocation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;u&gt;Registration:&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span&gt;The registration deadline for registration is one week prior to each session.
