Membership (Affiliate)
CPCA’s diverse membership includes community and free clinics, federally funded and federally designated clinics, rural and urban clinics, large and small clinic corporations and clinics dedicated to special needs and special populations. CPCA is designated by the Federal Bureau of Primary Health Care as the state primary care association and receives federal program support to develop and enhance services for member clinics.
Affiliate membership may be granted to those individuals not otherwise eligible for membership but who have a bona fide interest in California’s Community Clinics and Health Centers. Affiliate members have the nonvoting membership rights and privileges afforded to other membership categories.
Business Affiliate Nongovernmental health care related organizations, businesses, consultants and consulting firms that are not otherwise eligible for membership and that are committed to the goals and principles of this corporation may apply for membership as a business affiliate.
Individual Affiliate Individuals who are committed to the goals and principles of this corporation and whose employer is not otherwise eligible for membership may apply as an individual affiliate.
Membership applications are reviewed by a committee of the Board and voted on by the full Board at quarterly scheduled meetings.
