What is CP3?
The Capitation Payment Preparedness Program (CP3) is the readiness effort being developed to ensure demonstration sites are successful participants in the Alternative Payment Methodology (APM) pilot, slated to begin 2017. This page will provide updates on the program, links to pertinent information for CPCA members as well as those involved in the pilot program.
Goal of CP3
To demonstrate through statewide aggregated data that under the APM pilot, FQHC's can help bend the total cost of care curve, improve patient outcomes, and enhance patient experience while remaining financially robust.
The tool is available to all FQHC’s across California to use as a discussion and management tool. If sites are interested in additional coaching for the Readiness Assessment Checklist and Workplan, please contact Charlotte Reische, creische@cpca.org
There are a number of trainings and webinars available for site around Managed Care, please use the link above to view these resources.
