This webinar will overview the current rules and process for FQHC undergoing a comprehensive change in scope of service request (CSOSR). And will preview the interim prospective comprehensive change in scope of service request (IPCSOSR) that the Department of Health Care Services is offering as an option to health center participating in the Alternative Payment Methodology. Presenters will share how they are conceptualizing their value-based care teams and the impact that had on their cost report. 


LEARNING OBJECTIVES

CHCs will demonstrate an understanding of:

  • Determining the financial viability of whether a clinic should file a CSOSR or IPCSOSR
  • The purpose, rules, timing and process for the CSOSR and IPCSOSR
  • How the traditional CSOSR and IPCSOSR are similar and distinct 
  • Allowable/not allowable services and potential triggering events
  • The advantages/disadvantages of the IPCSOSR to care transformation
  • Obtaining interim rates during the CSOSR/IPCSOSR process
  • Discuss how final PPS rates get settled under the IPCSOSR process

Cancellation Policy: Effective 11/1/21 - No refunds will be available for cancellations that are received within 10 business days before the start date of the event/training. To receive a maximum refund of 50% of the registration price prior to this deadline, all cancellations must be in writing and submitted by emailing training@cpca.org. Substitutions of registrations in lieu of cancellation is encouraged.

Invoicing/Pay Later:Effective Wednesday, December 1, 2021 the “Pay Later” option will no longer be available when registering for trainings or events that have a fee associated with them.
