Draft Agenda
CPCA, in collaboration with CalHIPSO, is pleased to offer a Meaningful Use (MU) Boot Camp. The MU Boot Camp was introduced in 2014 as an innovative new training designed to offer community health center staff the information and tools necessary to assist their providers and health centers in successfully achieving Meaningful Use.
Back again this year, by popular demand, this one-day training will focus on Meaningful Use Stage 3. Presentations by CalHIPSO, Local Extension Center CA Technical Assistance Program (CTAP) staff, and other subject matter experts will make for an engaging day. Aspects of the challenging Stage 3 Objectives and how to pass them meaningfully will be the day’s focal point .
Upon completion of this Boot Camp attendees will be able to:
- Understand and share with leadership/staff why and how participation in the EHR Incentive Program can continue to benefit their health center organization.
- Increase their knowledge about CalHIPSO and its Local Extension Centers (LECs) and how these organizations can continue to assist CHCs and their Eligible Professionals with achieving MU through technical assistance under the CA Technical Assistance Program.
- Identify which MU measures are typically the most challenging for CHCs to meet and solutions to aid in attaining intended goals.
- Learn about what role Health Information Exchange (HIE) plays in meeting objectives
- Participants will have a chance to have their questions answered about all aspects of the MU Program by knowledgeable and experienced professionals.
