In light of recent federal and state legislative changes, this 60-minute webinar will help community health center leaders and human resources staff comply with workforce classification guidelines relating to independent contractors; with a specific emphasis on the clinical workforce.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Understand the current federal legislation guiding workforce classification;
  • Understand how recently passed state legislation (AB 5) supports implementation of the federal guidance within California; 
  • Understand how both federal and state legislation impact the community health center workforce, especially the clinical workforce; and,
  • To outline best practices for how health centers can best comply with guidelines.
