Since 2015, the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) awarded over $33.5 million to California Health Centers for their impressive improvements in advancing quality care, reducing health disparities and achieving Patient Centered Medical Home recognition.   In 2018, HRSA plans to continue with the UDS Quality Awards.  Health centers should be reviewing their UDS measure sets and identifying interventions that would improve performance and qualify them for an award.  This 60-minute webinar will support health centers to prepare for the CY 2017 quality awards by presenting actionable activities health centers can take in the next six months before February 2018 UDS submission that will align various quality initiatives and demonstrate outcomes to HRSA.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • The basic structure and formula HRSA uses to calculate awardees;
  • How to align their current QA/QI activities with HRSA Quality Award measures and 2017 PCMH Standards;
  • High yield actions health centers can implement immediately to see improvements in UDS measures and other quality indicators.
