Evidence-Based Guidelines for Management of Hypertension

June 1, 2023
TIME:  12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Hypertension is a modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease that affects an increased number of health center patients each year. Although providers are aware of hypertension as a problem, they may not be familiar with evidence-based, guideline-driven goals for management of hypertension and strategies for reaching those goals. Join CPCA on Thursday, June 1st, from 12:15-1:15 pm for a lunch and learn webinar that  aims to increase competence and performance in reaching blood pressure goals, including effective strategies for managing hypertension. This webinar will be presented by clinical endocrinologist and 2020 American Heart Association distinguished scientist. This is the first of a 3-part lunch and learn series on hypertension.

  • Increase competence of primary components effecting blood pressure control rates;

  • Develop effective strategies for achieving hypertension control.
