DATE: May 6, 2026
TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Pacific)

This webinar offers health centers a timely and practical overview of today’s evolving emergency management landscape. Participants will receive a concise refresher on key compliance requirements—including the CMS Emergency Preparedness Rule, accreditation standards, OSHA expectations, and California-specific mandates—along with links to helpful tools and resources. The session will explore why maintaining compliance is essential for organizational resilience, continuity of care, and financial stability after disasters. A deep dive into current shifts in emergency management will highlight changes in federal and state roles, emerging funding dynamics, the growing importance of legislative advocacy, and the value of private and nonprofit partnerships. Attendees will also examine emerging threats such as AI-driven hazards, civil unrest, and the unique preparedness needs surrounding major events like the World Cup and Olympics. There will also be time for participants to ask questions to apply webinar discussion to their site-specific needs.
