Individual Approaches for Activating Clinician Resilience: Easy Tools for Daily Life (This is the first webinar in a 2-part series)
Researchers on physician well-being, and the National Academy of Medicine’s Reports of 2019 and 2022, make clear that the primary drivers of clinician distress are systemic ones. At the same time limited federal money has been allocated for the research that would provide the evidence to identify the changes needed to create a safe workplace for healthcare workers and patients alike. In the first webinar of this two-part series, we will present a model, the Witnessing Model, that can account for many aspects of clinician distress – burnout, empathic distress, compassion fatigue, grief, moral injury among them – and propose brief activities that moderate these daily experiences for individuals. We will identify multiple sources of resilience that clinicians can draw on to support the work they do.

Registration is required for all CPCA training and events. You will receive two email communications immediately upon registering. The first is simply a receipt. The second from zoom.us, under CPCA Training or a CPCA staff member's name, will contain webinar access information. This email will only be delivered to the individual who is registered for the event and will contain a unique link for a single connection. We recommend you add this event to your calendar using the link contained in your webinar access email. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folders before contacting training@cpca.org.
Cancellation Policy: Effective 11/1/21 - No refunds will be available for cancellations that are received within 10 business days before the start date of the event/training. To receive a maximum refund of 50% of the registration price prior to this deadline, all cancellations must be in writing and submitted by emailing training@cpca.org. Substitutions of registrations in lieu of cancellation is encouraged.
Invoicing/Pay Later: Effective Wednesday, December 1, 2021 the “Pay Later” option will no longer be available when registering for trainings or events that have a fee associated with them.
