DATE:  Wednesday, September 20, 2023
TIME:  12:00pm - 1:00pm

Our Vision: To achieve health equity for black communities by improving education and outreach efforts, removing barriers to health care access, and addressing internal biases & racism.

Meeting Overview: Our Guest Speaker is
Dr. Janiene Luke, a board-certified dermatologist, Associate Professor, and Residency Program Director at the Loma Linda University Department of Dermatology in California.

Dr. Luke will discuss the inequities in healthcare and health outcomes in the field of dermatology for Black and African American patients and specific disease states or dermatological conditions impacting patients of color. Dr. Luke will also share opportunities to address these challenges by training providers in treating skin of color patients and addressing internal biases in dermatology care.
