Implementing DxF: Optimizing Workflows for Data Exchange Framework Integration
DATE: September 26, 2023
TIME: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Pacific)
Webinar #3 of 4 in CPCA Series
In January 2023, the California Health and Human Services Agency (CHHS) launched the CHHS Data Exchange Framework (DxF). Over the next three years, this framework will require all physician practices in the state, including community health centers, to exchange data with other practices, health plans, hospitals, and others. In this webinar CPCA, health centers, and other partners will share out promising practices to ensure secure, timely, and accurate data exchange routinely. Subject matter experts will share their work in developing and optimizing workflow options for exchanging data within the DxF. This webinar will also include an update on the latest DxF developments and important dates clinics need to be aware of for implementation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Walk away with 1-2 ideas about how to develop effective and efficient workflows for timely data exchange within the DxF.
- Understand new developments, including potential new policy and procedures, for the DxF.
- Have a better understanding of how the data exchange process works and what steps they need to take to be ready for implementation in January 2024.

- Cindy Keltner, VP of Health Access & Quality, CPCA
- Jennifer Inden, Sr. Program Manager Health IT, Aliados Health
- John Helvey, Executive Director, Sac Valley MedShare
