Part of the 2021 Workforce Symposium

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to test the limits of healthcare delivery systems and the health workforce. The severe shortage of healthcare providers, which existed prior to March 2020, is still here. In fact, it has become even more drastic with significant increase in demand for care. The ongoing need to respond to this pandemic highlights the importance of creating data-informed strategic workforce plans in community health centers. The first step in this process involves understanding where the organization lies along several key metrics.

In this session, the STAR² Center will describe health center recruitment and retention data profile dashboards created for each health center organization. These profiles can help health centers to analyze their own data as it relates to recruitment and retention and compare their data to that reported by all health centers nationally. Participants will also have the chance to hear how a health center colleague leveraged the data profiles to enhance their recruitment and retention efforts in their organization. Join us for this session to learn how your team can take proactive efforts to evaluate data and identify gaps, which will be incredibly helpful as your health center continues to build its workforce response to the COVID-19 pandemic and develop strategic workforce plan
