CPCA's 2024 Emergency Preparedness Symposium is designed to disseminate best practices and share innovative projects that directly relate to emergency and disaster preparedness at community health centers & clinics. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for health center staff who are responsible for preparing for or play lead in responding to emergencies. This symposium will afford attendees 2 days to connect with peers to learn more about and share what is happening in their health centers and communities in order to prepare and respond to emergencies in the most appropriate ways.

2024 Workforce Symposuim

Held in person for the first time, CPCA’s 2024 Workforce Symposium brought together CHCs, regional clinic associations, training institutions, health plans, healthcare associations, foundations, and various partners to engage in lively discussions on healthcare workforce development. Sessions focused on health professions training, recruitment, retention, strategic workforce planning, and diversity, equity and inclusion.

The California Primary Care Association is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. This activity offers 9.5 PDCs.
