About QualityImprovement+
Many factors go into deciding how a community health center (CHC) may approach continuous quality improvement (QI), including organization and site size, geographic location, staffing and community profile, financial resources, leadership commitment, and other tangible and non-tangible influences. QualityImprovement+ (QI+) was developed to help health centers improve and sustain the infrastructure needed to provide high quality care, with special attention on developing a culture of quality throughout the organization.
This 4-month blended online learning program supports the unique training and staff development needs of CHCs to build the fundamental skills and infrastructure necessary to adapt and position themselves for current and future value-based care delivery and payment models. QI+ will engage participants in self-paced learning modules complemented by virtual group learning, applied project-based learning, and group technical assistance calls to support project-based learning.
Subject matter expertise is provided by Community Health Solutions (CHS), whose mission is to support community innovation for health improvement. Since 2001, CHS has specialized in supporting collaborative projects where people from multiple community health center organizations work together to learn and implement effective practices.
