Recent federal legislation and and state executive orders are rapidly evolving employer requirements for employees in response to COVID-19 pandemic. In this webinar, we will provide an overview of key provisions mandated by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, including the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and Medical Leave Expansion Act, and share updates on the most recent Executive Orders enacted by Governor Newsom.
- Understand the timeline and requirements of Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and Medical Leave Expansion Act within the Families First Coronavirus Response Act;
- Identify changes to California employment law and existing resources offered by state departments; and,
- Discuss these changes in a dedicated Q&A session with HR Directors in community health centers across California to engage in peer-to-peer learning.
