Enhancing the Community Health Worker Workforce with CHC

The Community Health Worker (CHW) workforce is accelerating as changes are creating new opportunities for community health centers (CHCs). Join this 90-minute webinar that reviews the CHC approach on how to employ CHWs and operationalize CHW services at their sites, understand the policies in place and take-home strategies that will help the workforce grow sustainably. Participants will hear from a health center (TBA) that is home to many CHWs, subject expertise from Population Health Management Initiative (PHMI), Health Management Associates (HMA), and California Primary Care Association (CPCA) staff leads who will highlight key considerations about CHWs.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Identify the opportunities and practices that CHCs share when supporting CHW in the field such as including them in an interdisciplinary team and creating interventions that address patient needs.
• Understand the policy limitations and opportunities for developing the CHW workforce.
• Increased awareness on how CHCs operationalize and create a trusting environment for CHWs.

If you do not remember your login credentials, please email training@cpca.org. Once logged in, click the Register button, answer any questions that appear on the screen and click Save Responses. Continue scrolling to the bottom of the page and click Proceed to Checkout. Lastly, complete all payment details and click, Submit. You will receive one immediate email with a receipt of your order. Registration is required for all CPCA training and events. You will receive two email communications immediately upon registering. The first is simply a receipt. The second from zoom.us, under CPCA Training or a CPCA staff member's name, will contain webinar access information.  This email will only be delivered to the individual who is registered for the event and will contain a unique link for a single connection. We recommend you add this event to your calendar using the link contained in your webinar access email. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folders before contacting training@cpca.org.

Cancellation Policy: Effective 11/1/21 - No refunds will be available for cancellations that are received within 10 business days before the start date of the event/training. To receive a maximum refund of 50% of the registration price prior to this deadline, all cancellations must be in writing and submitted by emailing training@cpca.org. Substitutions of registrations in lieu of cancellation is encouraged.

Invoicing/Pay Later: Effective 12/1/21 - the "Pay Later" option will no longer be supported when registering for trainings and events that have a fee associated with them. Payment will be required at the time of registration via credit card.
