Over the past year, fears and misunderstandings surrounding the use of public benefits have grown in the immigrant community due to proposed changes to the Public Charge riles. As Federal Courts have recently ruled to place preliminary injunctions on the implementation of the Public Charge Final Rule, join us to learn more about Public Charge and how to support immigrants navigate immigration laws when using public benefits.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Gain an understanding of the Public Charge rules;
  • Learn about which communities and populations are impacted; and,
  • Gain resources to help immigrant communities navigate immigration rules surrounding Public Charge.
