Webinar Series for Behavioral Health Directors

Community Health Centers (CHCs) play a critical role in providing outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services to Medi-Cal beneficiaries in many communities, especially for the expansion population. In fact, since 2010 CHCs have increased mental health encounters by 154%! As health centers continue to transform care and focus on the patient's whole health, they will need high functioning behavioral health departments with strong leaders anchoring the department.

Webinar 3 - The Crucial Importance of Behavioral Health Leadership in Cultural Change
Behavioral Health leaders are not only leaders of their departments, they are often the informal leaders of cultural change within clinical settings. Behavioral health leaders are often seen as the natural advocates for embracing whole health practices, focusing on employee wellness and improving employee and patient experience. In order to most effectively facilitate cultural evolution, behavioral health leaders are ideally on executive leadership in their organizations.

This third webinar in our behavioral health series will focus on strategies for elevation into senior leadership/C-suite and embracing the leading key drivers for cultural change.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • How to lead with key drivers of cultural change;
  • Promising practices to elevate behavioral health to the C-suite; and,
  • Strategies to align behavioral health activities to organizational priorities and strategic goals.
